Donated funds enable us to buy low-cost food through Linn-Benton Food Share and to purchase needed food and supplies from commercial vendors. They also help us pay for our food service manager's salary and for our share of maintenance and replacement of equipment and appliances at our two kitchens.

Donating food

Stone Soup Corvallis, Inc. utilizes food and supplies from many sources: fresh produce donated by local farmers, gardeners and community farmers; canned and packaged goods donated by individuals and organizations; excess prepared foods from Fresh Alliance (pre-COVID); staples and perishables through Linn-Benton Food Share; and necessary items purchased from commercial vendors.

Stone Soup Corvallis, Inc. is a partner agency with Linn-Benton Food Share.

To donate food, call Keith Omdalen 541-666-8268 or bring food to St. Mary's Catholic Church kitchen before or during a meal (see our Meal Schedule tab at the top of the page). We can accept fresh produce and foods prepared in a licensed commercial kitchen. At this time, we can also accept donated food in its original packaging – canned or frozen food, rice, pasta, beans, etc. if unexpired as well as fresh produce at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 501 NW 25th Street, Corvallis, OR.
